Advanced Parameters

Combine meta tags with advanced controls such as exclude styles, vocal gender, weirdness, and style influence.

Some aimusicfactory workflows expose advanced controls beyond the text prompt. These controls are most useful when you already have a clear prompt and want to narrow or loosen the model behavior.

Exclude Styles

Exclude styles tell the generator what not to include.

Style:
pop ballad, female vocal, piano, uplifting

Exclude:
male vocal, electric guitar, dark atmosphere

Use exclude styles for:

  • Vocal control: exclude male vocal or female vocal if you need one lead type.
  • Instrument control: exclude synthesizer, drum machine, or acoustic guitar when they do not fit.
  • Genre control: exclude nearby styles that keep appearing in results.
  • Mood control: exclude dark, aggressive, or sad when you need a cleaner emotional target.

Vocal Gender

If a separate vocal gender setting exists, keep it aligned with the style prompt and lyric tags.

Vocal Gender: Female
Style:
R&B, soulful vocals, smooth harmonies, warm bass

Lyrics:
[Verse] [Intimate]
[Chorus] [Powerful Vocals]

Weirdness

Weirdness controls how far the result may wander from conventional expectations.

RangeBest for
0-30%Covers, classic genres, commercial pop, precise references
40-60%Most original songs, balanced creativity
70-100%Experimental fusion, avant-garde, unusual textures

Prompt example:

ambient jazz, granular synth, brushed drums, spoken word
Weirdness: 70%

Style Influence

Style influence controls how strongly the model should follow your style prompt.

RangeBest for
0-30%Loose inspiration and surprise
40-60%Flexible but recognizable direction
70-100%Strict style adherence

High style influence helps broad prompts behave more predictably:

Style:
progressive rock, 7/8 time, synthesizer, electric guitar, male vocal

Style Influence: 85%

Testing Template

Run the same prompt three ways:

Test 1: maximum control
Weirdness: 30%
Style Influence: 80%

Test 2: balanced
Weirdness: 50%
Style Influence: 60%

Test 3: experimental
Weirdness: 70%
Style Influence: 40%

Use the best result as the next prompt baseline, then change only one variable at a time.
